José Manuel has extensive experience in tax law, tax planning, tax audits, litigation, and defense in tax inspection proceedings before the Internal Revenue Service (SII). He is a founding partner of Team Tax, heading its Tax area. He has practiced as independent lawyer and worked in different consulting firms, actively participating in the implementation of the tax reform, as well as in negotiations with the Tesorería General de la República (TGR). He was a senior lawyer at Deloitte, in charge of tax litigation and disputes. In 2008, he was a paralegal at Mackenna Cruzat y Cía.
